How to reach
Malayattoor is located in the centre of Kerala. Cochin and Thrissur are equidistant from it. The picturesque village is easily accessible by road, rail or air.

Kalady (10 Km) and Angamaly are the nearest towns. Those coming from Kottayam take the direction from Kalady to Malayattoor. Those who come from Thrissur side eyther can take a division from Angamaly to Kurishumudy through Thuravoor and Manjapara or go to kalady and to malayattoor.

Those coming from Kothamangalam or Idukki side must drive to Perumbavoor, and may proceed through road towards Kalady and Malayattoor.

By Air
The new Cochin Internationali Airport (Nedumbassery) is just 15 km from Malayattoor. You may have to depend on a taxi to reach Kalady (5 km), from where you may board bus or proceed in taxi to Malayattoor.

By Rail
The nearest Railway station is Angamaly for kalady and is only 17 km from Malayattoor.

By Ship
Cochin, known as the Queen of the Arabian Sea, is 50 Km from Malayattoor.

Bus Service
Most pilgrims depends on buses, the common man's means of transportation. During the festival season [March-May], Kerala State Transport Corporation (K.S.R.T.C.) runs many services to Malayattoor from different parts of Kerala. A lot of private buses also operate services to Malayattoor from nearby districts.

During the rest of the year, there are sufficient number of buses operating to Malayattoor from towns like Emakuiam, Aluva, Angamaly,Perumbavoor, and Kothamanagalam.
